TN Tatem & Whitney Win Six-A-Side Tournament
T.N. Tatem won the Middle School Boys Under 13 Six-A-Side Tournament at the Shelly Bay Field on Monday [Oct 21] with a penalty shoot-out victory over the Sandys Middle School.
Jeze Butterfield gave Sandys a first half lead before Jahrico Butterfield scored a last minute equalizer. TN Tatem went on to win 2-1 in the shoot-out.
TN Tatem earlier defeated Clearwater Middle School in their semi-final matchup with Jahrico Butterfield scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win. Sandys also won their semi-final 1-0 with Mikal Dill scoring in the victory over Somersfield Academy
Whitney Institute Middle School defeated Clearwater 3-0 in the Over 13 final. Jaquari Paynter scored twice and Diaje Hart the other in the win.
Both teams won their semi-final matches in shoot-outs after scoreless draws. Whitney defeated Dellwood while Clearwater defeated T.N. Tatem.
