Cricket: Bermuda Defeat Scotland In Dubai

Janeiro Tucker won the toss in Bermuda’s ICC World Cup Twenty20 Qualifier opening match today [Nov 15] against Scotland in Dubai and decided to bat at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Dion Stovell was the top scorer with 29 from 20 deliveries, Lionel Cann scored 27 from 25 and Allan Douglas Jr. scored 21 from 11. With figures of 3.0-0-16-2 Gordon Goudie led the Scotland bowling attack.

In reply Scotland fell 18 runs short of their target as only two players scored in double figures, Kyle Coetzer scored 37 and Richie Berrington added 29. Jacobi Robinson returned figures of 2.0-0-08-3 and captain Janeiro Tucker bowled 3.5-0-22-3.
