Golf: Douglas & DeSilva Compete In Florida
Bermuda golfers Arriek Douglas and Cory DeSilva are currently playing in the Central Florida Junior Classic, part of the east coast Hurricane Tour.
Douglas shot an Opening Round of 2-over par 74 and is T5th, while DeSilva ended the day T47th after a First Round 11-over par 83.
Douglas began with a Birdie on the par four first hole, he stayed at 1-under par until the seventh hole where he then had three consecutive Bogey’s to make the turn 2-over par.
On the Back Nine, Douglas recorded a Par on the tenth, which was followed by a Bogey, Douglas then closed out with four consecutive Pars, a Birdie and then two Pars.
Meanwhile DeSilva recorded 1 Birdie which came on the par three seventeenth, he also shot 7 Pars, 8 Bogey’s and 2 Double Bogey’s.
