Junior Golf: Monthly Medal Tournament Results
The Bermuda Junior Golf Association had their Monthly Medal Tournament this week at The Port Royal Golf Club. In very blustery conditions, the juniors had a tough time keeping up with “old man par” with most players scoring higher than average.
In the Blue Tee Group, Lewis Daley had the low round of the day with a 76, 8 strokes better than his nearest competitor, Sam Wehemeyer, who shot an 84.
In the White Tee Group, the low round of the day was carded by Dakota Lamb with an 81 which was 6 strokes better than Brady Cordeiro on 87.
In the Red Tee Group, which was played at the Fairmont Southampton’s Turtle Hill Golf Club, the top finisher was Kenny Leseur on 65 and second was Kyrie Parfit on 76.
The Monthly Medal scoring system was applied to the top four finishers in each group to add to their tally accumulated throughout the year.
