Miss Bermuda Hands Out Poppies To Veterans
Miss Bermuda Katherine Arnfield recently visited the Packwood Rest Home, Matilda Smiths and Westmeath Rest Homes to hand poppies out to Bermuda’s War Veterans with the Bermuda Legion in lead up to Remembrance Day on November 11th.
Remembrance Day is the culmination of the annual Bermuda Poppy Appeal conducted by the Bermuda Legion that honors men and women from the Island’s armed forces who lost their lives in the two World Wars.
The Remembrance Day Parade is scheduled for Monday November 11th at 10.30am with dignitaries who will lay wreaths at the Cenotaph on Front Street, Hamilton and also at the War Memorial on the Cabinet Office grounds.
