Results: Cross Country At Botanical Gardens

Trey Simons put on a display as he ran away from the field during the Bermuda National Athletics Association’s Cross Country Meet at the Botanical Gardens this weekend.

Simons clocked a time of 24:24 on his way to winning the Men’s Open Division, while Omari Hart finished second in the Division clocking a time of 29:34 and Jashun Thomas rounded out the top three finishers in the Division with a time of 32:03.

The Masters Women Division winner was Vivienne Lochhead who clocked a time of 19:46, while a time of 21:46 saw Jennie Kelly finish second and Mairi Redmond finished third with a time of 22:23.

19:20 was the winning time recorded by Darren Dowling in the Masters Men Division, while Robert Thomas finished second with a time of 20:05 and Scott Neil finished third with a time of 21:15.

Wenda Roberts ran to victory in the Senior Masters Women Division with a time of 25:13, Louise White finished second clocking 26:40 and Midge Oliver finished third with a time of 27:31.
