Bermuda Jr Golf Weekend Tournament Results
The Bermuda Junior Golf Association [BJGA] completed their last monthly medal tournament of 2013 over the
weekend at The Turtle Hill Golf Course at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel. Once again, the players were graced with perfect playing weather, and the scores were reflective of that.
In the blue tees, Corey Desilva took top honors with a 61 and Daniel Hetzel came in second with a 68.

In the white tees, it was once again a battle for the top spot with Alex Mason claiming first place with a 60. Second place had to be decided by retrogression [best back nine] as there were three players who carded 62. Brady Cordeiro, Dakota Lamb, and Kheary Swan, in the last foursome of the day for the white tees, all had to scramble on the 18th hole to jockey for their final position in the tournament and secure their points distribution for the monthly medal series.
Dakota ended up with the best back nine of the three boys, taking second, with Kheary third and Brady fourth. This sets up the second half of the Series, to take place in 2014, to be a battle of nerves for all of the white tee players having to grind it down to the wire for the top spot at the end of the year.
