BFIS Insurance Summer Intern Programme
Applications now open for next summer’s BFIS ‘Intro-to-Insurance’ internships and based on past interns experiences, these short, intense educational opportunities within the insurance sector should be on the ‘must do’ list of any student seriously considering entering the industry.
“An educational experience like no other” was just one of the comments from the 16 interns who took part in the internship this past summer. Others interns said, “A fantastic experience which has quite literally enabled me to progress faster and further than I ever dreamt possible at this stage in my education and career.” and “One of the most immersive learning experiences I’ve ever had.”
Since 2002, 81 students have participated in the BFIS Intern Programmes which cover all aspects of the insurance market in an intensive 2 to 3 week period in 4 different jurisdictions – Bermuda, London, Chicago and Atlanta. BFIS pays travel, room and board expenses for the interns participating in the 3 internships.
