TROIKA Audition Call For ‘Beauty And The Beast’
TROIKA Bermuda is inviting everyone to audition for their upcoming production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, a show that is planned for production in August 2014.
The show will feature music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, all based on a book by Linda Woolverton and directed by Steve Huntsman.
Set to be held at the Berkeley Institute on Sunday, December 15 from 2.00pm through 8.00pm, the auditions will look to begin the process of filling all roles.
TROIKA said that all those taking part in the audition process should, “Please come prepared for the open call. Prepare two contrasting 32-bar selections in the style of the show.
“A song from outside of the musical theatre repertoire is acceptable as long as it is in the style of the show. You may sing a selection from the show if you choose, but please bring your sheet music with you. An accompanist will be provided. Actors will be asked to read a short side at the audition.
“Please come to the audition with your headshot and resume. Please come in comfortable clothing and prepared to move.”
