Golf: 1922 Trophy Tournament Results
The 1922 Trophy Tournament concluded under sunny skies at the Riddell’s Bay Golf and Country Club this weekend.
The Mixed Team of Sam Wehmeyer Anthony Hayward, Paul Lowry and Marian Lines were crowned Champions with 47 points, the Second Place Mixed Team of Craig Christensen, Malcolm Woodley, Dave Thompson and Debbie Haddrell also had 47 points, the Mixed Team of Brian Hollis, Larry Lombardo, Chris Fullerton and Lynda New finished third with 46 points.
Dave Thompson was the Men’s Individual Champion with a 78, while Sam Wehmeyer finished second with a 68 and Rich Marriott finished third also with a 68.
A 62 saw Kathy Lloyd Hines crowned the Ladies Champion, while Lynda New finished second with a 61 and Joanne Bielby finished third with a 56.
Debbie MacMillian won the Women’s Closest to the Pin on #3, while Roger Titterton won the Men’s Closest to the Flag on #11. Brian Hollis won the Closest to the Line on #13, Hollis also won the Closest to the Pin on #6 and Eric Robinson won the Closest to the Pin on #11.
