“Barnyard Bash” To Be Held This Saturday
Prospect Primary School is getting set to host its Barnyard Bash on Saturday, April 19, with all proceeds going to support the Bermuda Autism Support and Education [BASE] group.
April is Autism Awareness month and Prospect Primary is one of a few local primary schools that have autism classrooms. With local charity BASE, a supporter of those classrooms, set to benefit, the event’s aim is to promote awareness while helping to fund the procurement of specialized materials for students on the autism spectrum.
The event’s promo flyer said, “The Barnyard Bash for Autism will take place at the Prospect Primary School field from 10.00am through 4.00pm on Saturday, April 19. The event will feature pony rides, face painting, fun castles, wheel barrow races, games, water tag, tattoos, a hot dog and pie eating contest, kiddie land, treats like cotton candy, byrdies, snow balls, lickety split, and much more.
“Admission will cost $5 for adults and $2 for children aged 12-18 years, with no charge for children under 12.”
