Tomorrow’s Voices is celebrating its 16th anniversary with two fundraisers in October, including the 5th Annual Great Sip & Paint for Autism on October 1 and the “Move Your Feet for Autism” 5K Family Walk on October 29.

A spokesperson said, “To celebrate 16 years of service to the community, Tomorrow’s Voices is hosting two exciting fundraisers during their anniversary month of October.

“On October 1, join the charity for their 5th Annual Great Sip & Paint for Autism event set to take place from 6 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. at the Bermuda Society of Arts at City Hall. Tomorrow’s Voices Great Sip & Paint won the 2022 Best of Bermuda Award for Charity Event, and this year will only build on that with another first-class night with all proceeds benefiting the Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre.

“Along with painting, there will be live tunes from DJ Fury that will have you rocking in your seat as you create your masterpieces. Tickets are $155 and include dinner, open bar, prizes and a newly added dessert bar as well as all the painting fun.

“The event will help to raise much-needed funds for the Centre and services, as well as to broaden awareness of the autism spectrum and other developmental challenges that affect families in Bermuda. The night would not be possible without the support of sponsors CHUBB, Belco, Burrows Lightbourn Ltd., One Communications, Barritt’s, Demco Florist and DJ Fury. Tickets can be purchased through the Tomorrow’s Voices website www.tomorrowsvoices.bm or calling 297-4342.

“Later in the month, the charity will also be hosting its first 5K Family Walk in support of Autism. “Move Your Feet for Autism,” will take place on Sunday, October 29 starting at 2 p.m. at the charity’s TN Tatem facility in Warwick. Along with the 5K route there will also be a lap course around the field for those families with young children or who require gentle terrain. There is also the option to join the event virtually.

“Registration will take place through racedayworld.com and the registration fee is $30 for adults and $15 for children between 6 and 16 years old. The first 450 participants will receive a celebratory walk kit on a first come first serve basis, and all registered children wearing Halloween costumes will be entered in a draw to win a prize. After the walk, join the charity for a family fun day with fun castles, a DJ, vendors and the Tomorrow’s Voices information booth selling treats made by Tomorrow’s Voices Thriving Beyond 21 adult clients.

“For more information, call 297-4342 or email shill@tomorrowsvoices.bm. This event would not be possible without the great support of our sponsors: Diamond Sponsor SiriusPoint, Silver Sponsor D&J Construction Ltd., Supporting Sponsors AF Smith, Island Nutrition, MadeMovement and Funtyme Entertainment.”
