Traffic Delays Due To Harbour Road Collision
At sometime around 4.00pm this afternoon [Apr 10] emergency services responded to a collision on Harbour Road which appears to have involved a car crashing into a wall. The car was blocking the road for some time, resulting traffic delays for commuters heading out of Hamilton to the western end of the island. It appears that one person was injured, and we will update with further details if able.

Bridge to Dockyard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant’t fix the bridge’s at the east end and you suggest another bridge to the west end. The driving skills in Bermuda the main problem. I’ve only had four crashes this year and five of them were not my fault ! Have a laugh with me.
lol
How do you hit a wall on a straight stretch of road?
Some people should not be on the road.
all that blocked up traffic for that… are you kidding me? police were acting like it was the end of the world or something.
I think it’s time to invest in a tow truck.
Great job honey.
You backed up to the wall and I was getting ready to leave the underground parking.
Pissed a few off but so what.
We have HSBC insurance.
I need a rum.
Thanks for the hold up, this looks like it may have been preventable.
Radar needs to be out more everywhere. People are driving like idiots. Here me Commissioner????!!!!
Speed wasn’t the issue for this one, how the hell would radar help, or do the have a dufus detecting radar now?
Time was wasted this afternoon by many people including me.
The potential existed for additional accidents on middle road as the scooter people were having a riding frenzy.
When are we going to get a better alternative to the Paget traffic lights, like by pass surgery.
Why don’t the Radio stations here advise motorists ? and give direction !
From where I sit, it seems like the Commissioner and the entire Police service are completely ignoring the madness on our roads! It no longer feels safe driving out there with the free-for-all and ‘race track’ road conditions from one end of the island to the other!
There is NO way that amount of damage was done by hitting a wall at the legal road speed in Bermuda.
Hope the driver gets nailed with the right motoring offences!
Sadly i see so many people on here saying how disappointed they are that time was wasted because of such a minor or preventable accident. The reality of it is, that we dont know what happened. We dont know the circumstances yet everyone is so quick to judge.
Maybe there was a manfunction within the vehicle or the person was momentarily blinded….grow up Bermuda because if it was you that had been in the accident you would be singing a different tune….
whats a few minutes of your time when someones life could be hanging in the balance?
I drive the roads everyday and over 60% of the accidents can be avoided if everyone just slowed the hell down!!!!The police need to enforce this. That’s what they’re getting paid for using my tax dollars!!!!!!!!!
I drive every single day at least 4 time a day on harbor road, I’ve seen people doing the speed limit and almost lick up why? Because some idiots just shouldn’t be driving on middle road. I’ve seen dummies driving slower than the speed limit and go over into the opposite lane of traffic. Than you have those dumb asses who buy big cars that they can’t even control properly and every time something is coming In their direction they decide to put on brakes and half the time come to a complete stop. So pretty much if you can’t drive on curvy sometimes narrow roads or your nerves are bad stay the **** off of harbor road and leave that for people that can actually drive/ride
