Odyssey Explorer Docked At Penno’s Wharf

The Bahamian flagged research vessel Odyssey Explorer is docked at Penno’s Wharf in St George’s earlier this week, stopping by while in transit to the US from Europe.

The Odyssey Explorer is a salvage and recovery vessel owned by Odyssey Marine Exploration. The vessel was recently painted the new present color while in drydock completing her Lloyd’s five-year Special Survey.

A Reson 7160 Hull mounted multibeam with a 3,000 meter depth capability and a 12 khz 6,000 meter echo sounder were also permanently installed in her hull.
