Photo Set #2: Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day

Hundreds of people headed down to St David’s County Cricket Club when they hosted the annual Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day on Good Friday [Apr 18] with the event featuring the Mohawk Grand Prix, Honky Lamb’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, Cracker Minors 6 In 60 Challenge, Delby’s Wheelbarrow Race, Peter Fox Pie Challenge and more.

Many residents and visitors lined the field with ‘camps’ fully stocked with chairs, food, coolers filled with refreshments, and kite flying supplies.

One visiting couple from Halifax, Canada was seen relaxing in one of the camps, welcomed by one of the east end families on the field. This is the couple’s third visit to the island but first to the Gilbert Lamb Family Fun Day celebrations.
