Police Community Action Team To Host Clinic

Police are encouraging residents to come out at 5pm on Saturday [Apr 12] and visit officers from the Police Community Action Team at Gorham’s Ltd where they are hosting a Police Community Clinic.

A Police spokesperson said, “The ‘Meet Your Community Action Team Officers’ [CAT] – Police Community Clinic will take place at 5pm this Saturday April 12 Gorham’s Ltd. in Pembroke.

“This initiative is an avenue for members of the public:

• 1. To voice their concerns about ongoing anti-social or criminal activity in their neighborhoods
• 2. Receive Neighborhood Watch Group information [if they are interested in setting up or joining an existing NHWG]
• 3. Receive Crime Prevention information and pamphlets

“In addition to having a static post, we will be conducting patrols of the immediate area and engaging the residents, that may not be in a position to visit our location.”
