This is all about showing respect for one another.
Is there any thing gained by insulting people and making
” knife in the back ” derogatory comments.
” Get Cracking”!
Don’t wait till a man saves your life, before you start to refer to him as Mr. Green ; Mr. Brown or Mr. White.
I have never found it to be acceptable to refer to people by other than the last name given by the family and their given christian names .
” A man’s name is the sweetest sound in any language”
You have better know that if you want to stay in business.
My father once told me never to disgrace the Family name.
Be proud of who you are and where you cone from.
Calling people “seniors” categorizes people in to un- complementary segments, just as T.C.D refers to people as “Special Persons”, I can not see where the word special comes into it as we are all special in one way or another.
Referring to people as” Expats” I find most distasteful.
There are many of our people living in other countries and I doubt that they are referred to as X.
Many years ago at the Elbow Beach Surf Club in Paget there was a social host wearing tennis attire who could remember the names of every guest that came through the doors .
If you care to remember “Pangaea” by association, just think of pancakes with synthetic cream, nuts and a cherry on top.
