ICS Appoints New Technical Account Manager
Independent Consulting Solutions [ICS] Bermuda has appointed Brett Corday to the position of Technical Account Manager, augmenting the company’s business development and consulting sales teams based in Bermuda, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Mr. Corday, who has marketing, social media and financial sales and customer service expertise, will report to the company’s Managing Director, Stephen Bull.
“Mr. Corday is working towards his MBA in Marketing Management with Wilmington University in Delaware and has a BA in Marketing from Millersville University, Philadelphia,” said Mr. Bull.
“He has worked for a number of organizations, including ING Direct and, until joining ICS, was Director of Financial Aid for the Dawn Career Institute in Wilmington.
“We are very pleased to have Mr. Corday as a member of our technical sales team and look forward to benefiting from his energy, personality, and professional outlook. He will be in direct contact with all our key clients, supporting and guiding them in making the right software, hardware, and business strategy purchasing decisions.”
“During his career at ING Direct, Mr. Corday was one of the top 25 sales associates in the United States. He has also completed a finance internship at Morgan Stanley and LBC in Pennsylvania where he gained experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning.
“Mr. Corday joins ICS just as the company’s Fifth Step Bermuda [FSB] initiative, to provide the island’s senior management access to leading IT and change management resources in London and New York, is gaining momentum.
“FSB was launched by ICS and Fifth Step Limited, headquartered in London, in July 2013 to provide direct support to Bermuda’s C Suite executives looking for skills that bridge the gap between the ‘Big 4′ and locally-available technical consultants. The new ICS website reflects this new business model.
“These strategic services augment ICS’s core Bermuda-based activities in providing on-site technical resources, Microsoft licensing solutions, and support for the island’s companies operating Citrix, Microsoft, and HP environments.”
“Growing the company in this way has enabled ICS to strengthen its core Bermuda-based team while at the same time offering local staff access to careers providing consulting services to ICS and FSB clients in Europe and North America,” said Mr. Bull.
“Mr. Corday will work alongside well-known individuals in the Bermuda, London, and New York markets, including consultants who provide support to clients within Lloyds of London. The team is currently delivering a number of projects where the sponsors reside in Bermuda, the CIOs are in London or Zurich, and the delivery teams are on the U.S. east coast.”
“We are very adept at working in this way to provide a transatlantic bridge for clients needing to marry project and geographic complexity with continuity,” continued Mr. Bull. “The Fifth Step name comes from the ‘fifth step’ in the ITIL process – Continual Service Improvement. This is a reflection of our core beliefs and illustrates just how much these best practice approaches form part of our DNA.”
“Fifth Step provides highly experienced senior IT managers, using best practice approaches and a co-sourced model to create IT as an asset in London, New York, and Bermuda. This is delivered through the alignment of business and IT strategies and implementing continual service improvement – all without the need to increase headcount.
“As well as being a founding member of FSB, ICS’s core technology partnerships with Microsoft, Check Point, Citrix, and HP [ICS is an HP Preferred Partner and HP Authorized Service Centre] ensure that its team is trained in all the latest vendor systems and initiatives.”
