Masterworks To Host Unique Sky Gazer Exhibit

Masterworks is getting set to host an exhibit called “Sky Gazer” that will showcase the works of Alan Smith, most of which features male nudes set against the Bermuda sky. Additional works, including poems and crafted songs, will serve to accentuate the visual presentation.

A spokesperson said, “Please join us for an exhibit opening reception featuring the innovative works of artist Alan Smith. His exhibit, “Sky Gazer”, is a series comprised of manipulated digital photographic images that are predominantly male nudes set against a backdrop of Bermuda sky.”

“He has also written poems and crafted songs around the subject matter. The text and some of the images touch on themes of memory and reflection; the sky as a mirror that is unfixed.”

“Sky Gazer” will open for public viewing on May 30, 2014 with an opening reception to be held from 5.30pm through 7.00pm at Masterworks.
