National Rugby Team Heading To Atlanta
The Bermuda National team is heading out to Atlanta on Thursday [May 8] to play USA South Rugby on Saturday 10th May as part of the North Caribbean Championship put on by NACRA.
Bermuda have made several changes to the team that got demolished by Mexico 56-9. The friendly international was part of the build up to the championship games.
National team coach Roedolf Van der Westhuizen Coach appeared optimistic and stated, “We have made some changes from the game against Mexico and believe that we are fielding our strongest line up for this game.
“Our focus will be to be very clinical in defense and compete hard at the breakdown to ensure we have sufficient ball possession to dictate the pace of the game. The USA South team will be a much younger team than the Bermuda team which can be seen as a disadvantage if you focus on speed and fitness, however the experience we have will count just as much and even more in a tight game situation, which I expect this game to be.”
The squad that will be traveling to the USA tomorrow:
1 Paul Dobinson
2 Mike Williams
3 Dustin Archibald
4 Dave Rourke
5 Tashon Desilva
