Anyone knows where to buy the small engines? I want to get one for next year’s race…

You dont buy Seagulls, you borrow them from your mate, all done up and nice for the race, then after the race you throw them in the shed upside down with out rinsing them out with fresh water, because you have consumed 3 cases of Heiniken on the way round.
Several months later you get tired of declining your mates calls , and hiding when he comes round your house looking for the motor, and then get your other mate to try and unsieze it, so you can return it to the original owner, mate #2 then uses it for the next race , and then a year later lends it to some one else and the cycle goes on.

A truly Bermudian event not found anywhere else in the world. Somehow a river race in NZ does not compare with an open ocean race.

Hope they all packed enough beer & ice for the trip.
