Twilight Entertainment To Host Fun Weekend

Twilight Entertainment is getting set to present its Twilight Summer Series at T.N. Tatem Middle School on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, with a long list of family-friendly entertainment scheduled to take place.

On Saturday, June 14, the fun will kick off at 6.00pm, with two films to be shown, including Man of Steel at 8.45pm and Thor: The Dark World at 11.20pm.

With Sunday, June 15 representing Father’s Day and being the day before National Heroes Day, a Community Fun Day will be held. Members of the Bermuda Police Service, Bermuda Fire Service, Bermuda Regiment, and St. John’s Ambulance will be in attendance with some of their vehicles and appliances, including one of the Bermuda Regiment’s ceremonial cannons, allowing the public to learn more about them up close.

Attendees will enjoy volleyball, badminton, train rides, pony rides, Playstation 4 gaming on 10-foot and 16-foot screens, and trivia contests, along with food from vendors including Ashley’s Lemonade, Can-da-licious, serving fish cakes, hamburgers, french fries, chicken wings, and chicken burgers, and Dandy Doughnuts, along with toy vendors and glitter tattoos.

There will be Last Man Standing competitions on the interactive Meltdown fun castle for both children and adults throughout the day and evening at both events, with the last person standing winning prizes of $500 or $1,000.

Sunday’s films will include The Amazing Spider Man at 8.45pm and Iron Man 3 at 11.25pm.

The event is sponsored by BELCO and Crave and the trivia contests are sponsored by Frost Bites, Last Nights Boutique, and Pepsi, with partial proceeds going to Mirrors.
