Cricket Top Batting & Bowling Performers

The Bermuda Cricket Board’s Premier and First Division matches this past weekend saw six batsman in six matches able to score half centuries or more.

Temiko Wilson from Western Stars and Jordan DeSilva from the Somerset Cricket Club both finished in the top spot in the batting department with 76 runs. Wilson’s runs came during the Central County match against the Devonshire Recreation Club, while DeSilva’s came against the Southampton Rangers in a Premier Division match on Sunday.

Ricardo Brangman was the next top scorer with a knock of 55 for Willow Cuts against Cleveland County, while Lamar Caines from the Devonshire Recreation Club scored 53 runs against the Western Stars in their Central County match.

In the bowling department, with figures of 5.1-1-15-4, Durnell Smith from Devonshire Recreation Club led the charge, while Derrick Brangman had the second best bowling figures of 6.0-1-17-4 for the Southampton Rangers for against the Somerset Cricket Club and Bailey’s Bay’s Rodney Trott’s 7.5-0-26-4 against the St. George’s Cricket Club was the third best figures.
