Premier, First Division Weekend Cricket Results

Southampton Rangers, St. David’s Cricket Club and Western Stars all recorded wins this weekend in the Bermuda Cricket Board’s First and Premier Division action.

Premier Division

Southampton Rangers Win by 5 Wickets: Bailey’s Bay 174 Southampton Rangers 178/5

At the Southampton Oval, Bailey’s Bay were bowled all out for 174, Stephen Outerbridge was the top scorer with 45, Dion Stovell was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 6.1-1-26-3.

In reply Southampton Rangers got a 118 run 4th wicket partnership between Janeiro Tucker and Stovell as they crossed the score with 5 wickets in hand. Tucker was the top scorer with 67 not out, while Stovell added 57.

St. David’s Cricket Club Win by Default

Cleveland County failed to show for their match against the Premier Division League leaders in their match at Lord’s a day after defeating the same team the day before win the Eastern County Cup.

First Division

Western Stars Win by 98 Runs : Western Stars 250/8 Devonshire Recreation Club 152

At the Devonshire Rec., Western Stars won the toss and elected to bat they scored 250/8 in their allotted 50 overs, Wendell White was the top scorer with 41, while Steven Bremar was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 10-4-27-2.

In reply Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled all out for 152, Oladapo Frederick was the top scorer with 27, Seion Darrell was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 10-0-51-5.
