Weekend Top Batting & Bowling Performers

The Bermuda Cricket Board’s Premier and First Division matches this past weekend saw the ball and the bat share the spoils.

OJ Pitcher from the St. David’s Cricket Club finished in the top spot in the batting department with 73 runs. Pitcher’s runs came during his team’s Premier Division win over the St. George’s Cricket Club, Donnie Chares was the next top scorer with a knock of 64 not out for Somerset Bridge against Warwick Workman’s Club and Dion Stovell from Southampton Rangers scored 68 not out against Willow Cuts.

In the bowling department, with figures of 4.5-1-10-5 Del Hollis from St. David’s Cricket Club led the charge against the St. George’s Cricket Club, while Nelson Bascome from Flatt’s Victoria had the second best bowling figures of 8.0-0-23-5 against Western Stars and Darnelle Ferrell’s 3.1-0-18-4 for Flatt’s Victoria against Western Stars was the third best figures.
