May I extend my / our sincere thank you to all who’d made it possible…A great part of of the problem is, “many trucks are far too small”. This is something that needs to be dealt with…The larger vehicles did the work for years, and may I say adequately, all that was required of the public was to carry their garbage out to the main roads if their roadway was / is to narrow for big trucks.
Remember, the big trucks don’t have to keep running back to Tynes Bay Facility to off load to only then turn around and get back to where they’d left off so they can continue on. This is consuming far too much fuel as well as man hours. So please devise a new and improved system to collect peoples garage :-(

The whole Trash problem comes from lack of planning, and vision – those in charge should have known were when and how
what will happen both Socially and politically if the trash is not dealt with in a proper manor and method.
But like anything else Trashgate it will come to pass.

So why has mine been sitting outside for over a week then if it is completed?
    I live east.

This service is going the way of the post office, I’ve noticed that if your trash bags get attacked by chickens / cats whilst waiting to be picked up they leave it because the trash ‘isn’t secured’……. kind of like not delivering your mail because your post code wasn’t correct. We need a complete overhaul of this service to make it serve the public’s needs not the unions.
