Shadow Minister Congratulates TLF Graduates

Shadow Minister for Workforce Development Rolfe Commissiong congratulated the graduates of the Technology Leadership Forum’s [TLF] Internship Programme, saying that “their success proves that young Bermudians given the proper training and opportunity have what it takes to advance to the highest levels of this economy.”

Mr. Commissiong said, “On behalf of the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party, I would like to extend congratulations to the recent graduates of the Technology Leadership Forum’s Internship Programme; Ciera Fox, Samuel Matthews, Mpumelelo Richards, Dante Richardson, Colisha Smith and Daniel Walker.

“They are now all poised to advance their careers in the field of information communication technology. Their success proves that young Bermudians given the proper training and opportunity have what it takes to advance to the highest levels of this economy,” continued Mr. Commissiong.

“The Technology Leadership Forum as an industry funded organization demonstrates the role that the private sector have in providing the cutting edge training necessary to keep Bermudians competitive in the 21st Century global economy.

The TLF Graduation held on August 19th:

Mr. Commissiong concluded, ”It is a task that Government with respect to Workforce Development can not and should not shoulder alone. All stakeholders have a stake in ensuring that Bermudians obtain all of the tools they need to compete and succeed in our economy.”
