Video: Cup Match Champions Congratulated
Premier Michael Dunkley and various Cabinet Ministers today [Aug 12] welcomed the 2014 Cup Match Champions, Somerset Cricket Club to the Cabinet Office.
Premier Dunkley, who is well known to be a long time Somerset fan, joked that he stood there with some St George’s fans as they “try to smile,” and congratulated Somerset for winning Cup Match.
Premier Dunkley said, “I was impressed by not only the standard of play, but how you conducted yourself. It was one of those years that I remember very clearly, that you made me more proud than ever, because not only did you win the game, but you’re exemplary role models for the people of Bermuda….
“I think in these times up when everyone is looked at so critically, I’m certainly proud to be the Premier and stand here today with my colleagues to congratulate you, and thank you performing on the field to play at such a high level…”
That man is so phony !!
The Milkman never met a camera he didn’t like.
Dunkley is a lot more than a “fan” of Somerset Cricket Club. He supports them in other ways also.
Was Dunkley really talking about Emancipation?
Dunkley, “It’s what Bermuda is about – its how we got here, through emancipation and everything else.” – What is everything else Dunkley?
