Lindo’s T20 Cricket Schedule Announced

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced the 2014 Lindo’s T20 competition schedule. This tournament will be the final games of the 2014 season which will end at Somerset on September 28th.

The schedule features 2 evening games at Somerset CC on Friday 5th and 12th respectively and more group games throughout September. The 4 semi-finalists are seeded into separate groups which culminate with the semi-finals and finals on the weekend of September 27th and 28th.

BCB President, Lloyd Fray said; “I am looking forward to some exciting cricket to finish our season. The Lindo’s T20 has become a major domestic competition which al l our clubs, players and fans look forward to. I am confident that we will see some very competitive games again as teams try to capture this coveted trophy from the 2013 champions, St. David’s.”

Zach Moniz, Director of Marketing of Lindo’s noted, “Lindo’s is very pleased to continue its partnership with the BCB and this exciting format of cricket. Once again we will see some evening games which we hope will encourage more community involvement and greater diversity in the fan base. I am pleased to confirm that Lindo’s will be providing two new Kookaburra Senator match balls for each game to the clubs. I look forward to a great competition and fun cricket played in the spirit of sportsmanship.”

    One thing about T20, it’s much faster than say the usual 50 or unlimited overs.
    T20 reminds me of when we lot would play “Tip-in-e’-go” back in de’day :-) My wife and I look forward to catching a couple matches. (God be willin’)
