NVCC, Trojans, Cougars & Hornets Results
The Bermuda Football Association’s [BFA] Dudley Eve Trophy Competition is underway with the North Village Rams taking on Somerset Trojans, and Dandy Town Hornets matching up with the Devonshire Cougars.
North Village Rams 2 Somerset Trojans 2
At the Devonshire Rec. the Somerset Trojans and the North Village Rams played to a 2 – 2 draw.
The Somerset Trojans went ahead in the 16th minute through a Leo Burgess goal, the North Village Rams were level in the 42nd minute when scored Jonathan Briers scored. The Somerset Trojans went back in front in the minute with a goal from Tahj Wade in the 45th minute as they took a 2 – 1 led into the break.
The lone goal in the second half came in the 70th minute when a Keishen Bean cross was deflected into net by a Somerset Trojans defender.
Dandy Town Hornets 4 Devonshire Cougars 1
In the nightcap the Dandy Town Hornets took a 3 – 1 lead into the halftime break, they took the lead in the minute when Fabian Frankson scored in the 7th minute, the lead was doubled 4 minutes later with Frankson doubling the lead.
The Devonshire Cougars pulled a goal back in the 18th minute when Moses Steede scored from a Derek Brangman cross, but lay Darrell restored the Dandy Town Hornets two goal lead with a goal in the 43rd minute.
The second half produced only one goal, Jahnazae Swan hit the back of the net in the 56th minute to earn the Dandy Town Hornets a 4 – 1 victory over the Devonshire Cougars.
