  2. We Are Not Amused! says:

I really hope they try to steal someone’s chain that knocks them to the ground and beats the crap out of them!

  3. Sigh says:

How about Police recommend thieves not to steal!! This is ridiculous

    • PBanks says:

Tend to agree. Would be nice to hear the Police say something along the lines of “we’re stepping up our efforts to nail such crooks”.

  4. wtf says:

WHEN THEY PULL UP ASIDE YOU, GIVE THE FRONT OF THEIR BIKE A SWIFT KICK. THEY WILL GO DOWN AND YOU WILL CONTINUE ON YOUR WAY. SIMPLE! DONT BE AFRAID TO KICK THESE GUYS OFF THEIR BIKES, THEY ARE A WASTE OF LIFE.

    • Toodle-oo says:

Yeah right .. then their sense of entitlement to have what others have that the owners have worked and saved for kicks in and they pull out a knife or a gun .
Bear in mind that I’m not totally against the belief of ‘ if I worked for it ,then you’re going to as well’ .. lol

  5. Close the Gold lending shop !!!!! Simple, crime on jewelry reached new heights when they opened doors. CLOSE THEM THE **** DOWN

  6. Truth is killin' me... says:

Now now people. It’s a New Bermuda and you’re supposed to let these young ones do what they like without fear of retaliation…NOT…I SAY IF YOU WANT TO ACT LIKE AN ADULT THEN BE PREPARED FOR AN ADULT RESPONSE…(AND MAYBE AN ASS WHOOPIN’ OR TWO!)

  7. sage says:

How much did that island wide, facial recognition, license plate reading, full HD, multi giant screen surveillance system cost again?

  8. Redo says:

Get a dam job and buy your own freakin chains, you scumbag welfare loosers!

  9. Paz says:

I suggest that every parent sit down with their teenagers and ask them whether they are stealing chains or anything else. Tell them why you think it is wrong. How violated people feel when this is done to them. How hurt they are when a sentimental object is taken from them. That it actually costs other people money to replace the stolen object How it isn’t right to take something from someone who worked hard to make the money to buy the object.

Of course, most of the perpetrators will lie and say they aren’t involved. But your conversation will have an effect. Do it over again in a month. Beat that drum. Teach your children right from wrong.

    • Get Real says:

Then afterwards we can all hold hands in a circle & sing camp fire sings

  10. Creamy says:

It’s time we insisted motorbikes have front and back number plates. Big, readable ones.

  11. Get Real says:

    Songs*

  12. X man says:

This is why the Police need to walk the beat more – and become part of the Community and not a part of a Police Car.
Just yesterday I was walking around the Town of St.Georges and had Lunch on the Squire – I didn’t see a single Police
officer for hours,– geeesh any dam thing could have happened. – when I drove up the Kindley Field there they were in
a Police car waiting for a victim.- do they even have a daily plan!

  13. nothing up my sleeve says:

It’s a lot easier to tell the victim they should have done things differently then it is to catch the culprit, don’t just suggest ways to help us protect ourselves; go out and protect us like you should.

  14. Mark-Arthur Phillips says:

This is sad….. They have rap songs that speak about this chain snatching and unfortunately these person are taking these songs quite seriously. Now, I am not blaming rap music, I am a fan of rap music but some of it does not give the best messages. I was online the other day and I saw an image of someone making the gun gesture and the other hand has the chain. This is sad because some silly person are living out what the artists is truly lying about.
