BCB Confirm U13 National Academy Squad
The Bermuda Cricket Board confirmed the selection of the National Academy U13 Squad after trials took place last Saturday and Sunday at Shelly Bay Field. The U13 Management Team consists of Calvin Waldron, Clay Smith and Joseph Butterfield.
The National Academy Winter Training Program starts on Sunday 12 October at BHS. Details will be announced shortly, and standby players will be called as needed.
President of the BCB, Mr. Lloyd Fray said, “I would like to congratulate these young players on their selection to the U13 National Academy squad. The U13 is the foundation of our National Academy Program and players will receive specialised training.
“I encourage all the young players that attended the trials who were not successful to continue to work hard at their game so that they continue to improve. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our major youth academy sponsors the Bank of Bermuda Foundation and the XL Foundation. Without their help this program could not continue to flourish.”
