Prestigious Award For CD&P Law Firm
Law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman has won a prestigious award for its work in the captive insurance space.
Conyers was named as the Offshore Law Firm in the 2014 US Captive Services Awards, organised by Captive Review. At the same event, Bermuda was awarded the Offshore Captive Domicile.
Chris Garrod, a Director in Conyers’ Bermuda office, said, “From 2012 to 2013 we have seen a three-fold increase in US Captives in Bermuda generally and we continue to advise well over 50 per cent of the captive entities registered in Bermuda.
“This includes single parent captives, large group and association captives and segregated account companies across all major industries representing US captive owners in Bermuda. We are delighted that the work of our team in this field has been recognised.”
The award was open to law firms in offshore jurisdictions servicing US parented captives in the last 12 months. The award recognises contributions to the captive market through legal expertise and innovation, strategic vision, business winning and client care.
Earlier this year Conyers was also named Offshore Law Firm of the Year by Chambers & Partners, publisher of the world’s foremost guides to the legal profession.
