Women’s Futsal League Kicks Off In January
The Bermuda Futsal Federation announced that the 2015 Women’s Futsal League will start in January, 2015. Games will start at 5 pm [venue to be confirmed] and clubs, youth organizations or other interested persons are invited to register teams.
This represents the fourth year that the women’s league has been held and registration forms may be collected at the Bermuda Football Association or via the Bermuda Futsal Federation email: bdafutsal@yahoo.com Registration deadline is 29 December, 2014 and completed registration forms with payment [cheques payable to the Bermuda Futsal Federation] should be submitted to the BFA Office.
“A number of new teams have expressed an interest in participating and when combined with previously participating teams, could result in an expanded and more competitive league,” a spokesperson said.
“The Bermuda Futsal Federation looks forward to another successful season and invites the public to witness this growing and exciting version of women’s football in Bermuda. The BFF thanks the Bermuda Football Association for its continued support in developing the game of Futsal in Bermuda.”
