Aspen US Insurance Realign Casualty Business

November 8, 2014

Aspen US Insurance, part of the insurance segment of Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited, announced a realignment of its Casualty business to better serve broker partners and deliver creative risk solutions.

Shifting from a general casualty model to a specialty one, the new structure will more closely align Aspen US Insurance’s extensive casualty expertise with the needs of specific segments in the market. The reconfigured Casualty team will deliver specialized risk tools and innovative solutions for casualty exposures across four product lines:

  • 1. Real Estate/Hospitality: will continue to provide coverage solutions that support the ongoing needs of this market;
  • 2. Construction: will aim to expand Aspen US Insurance’s presence in this market segment;
  • 3. Excess Liability: will continue to provide both excess and umbrella coverages as the Company has done for several years; and
  • 4. Products Liability: will complete Aspen US Insurance’s market support in the casualty space.

The product teams have been established across three regions [East, Central, West] in the US to provide geographic and timely service to clients and broker partners.

Roxanne Mitchell, Executive Vice President and Chief Casualty Officer, commented, “The specialty casualty market in the US is complex and requires deep expertise and creative solutions. I am excited about this new structure as it will allow us to bring our industry expertise directly to the specialty casualty needs of the market. We are now even more strongly placed to support the unique needs of our broker partners and clients.”
