Bermuda Runners Compete In NY Marathon
Eleven runners from Bermuda took to the streets in New York taking part in the New York Marathon.
Geoffrey Blee finished 1,982nd overall with a time of 3:16.12, while Manuel Lopes finished 2,040th clocking 3:16.39.
Martin Merritt clocked 3:40.08 on his way to finishing 6,796th, Helen Gillis-Cooze was the first female of the group to cross the line she clocked 3:48.28 on her way to finishing 9,254th.
Finishing 13,998th was Joe Barbosa who recorded a time of 3:59.38, while Emily Hopkin crossed the line in a time of 4:04.41 which put her in 15,899th.
Anne Kermode finished 18,550th after recording a time of 4:11.34, with Stephen Dunkley recording a time of 4:20.50 which put him 22,355th overall.
Robin Holder’s time of 4:34.41 saw him finish 27,949th, Craig Macintyre finished 40,059th after recording a time of 5:14.12 and Cindy Fisher finished 40,364th after clocking a time of 5:15.54.
