Cup Celebration: Additional Ferry Service Tonight
Due to the America’s Cup celebration planned for this evening [Dec 3] on Front Street, there will be additional ferry service provided.
The actual Cup will arrive in Bermuda later today, and Front Street will be closed off at 5.30pm, with the celebration set to include the Bermuda Regiment Band, the Gombey’s, fire dancer performances, live music by Working Title, a 3-cannon salute and a fireworks display.

I thought we didn’t have any extra money for Government OVERTIME pay? Next time when the Government says we can’t get to your trash today because of overtime don’t say crap!
Think about it. Those ferrys just might carry enough load to cover the expenses of running them for a change tonight. And look at that…the trickle down effect is working for those BIU crews earning them most likely time & a half for a few hours when they would not be getting paid at all.
