Four Bermudians Play In ICC Americas Win
All four Bermuda players Delray Rawlins, Onias Bascome, Tre Manders and Christian Burgess were in the ICC Americas team that took on a Barbados Under 23 Invitational team at the Desmond Haynes Oval.
The ICC Americas team won toss and decided to bat they scored 110/7 in their allotted 20 overs and then restricted the Barbados U-23 Invitational 88/7 in their 20 overs.
In the ICC Americas inning Steven Taylor from the United States was the top scorer with 44, while Manders was the next highest with 16. Burgess was the next highest batsman with 9, while Bascome added 5 and Rawlins did not bat.
In the Barbados U-23 Invitational inning Rawlins was the only Bermuda player to bowl he finished with figures of 4-0-20-1, Satsimranjit Dhindsa from Canada was the pick of the ICC Americas bowlers he had figures of 4-0-15-4. Burgess had four dismissals that included 3 catches and 1 stumping in the inning.
