Island Basketball League Double Header Results
A total of 211 points were scored as the CellOneIsland Basketball League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a men’s double-header.
With the Christmas and New Year’s break approaching, the Crossfire Ballers go in with a 5 and 1 record on the season with their 67-42 win over the now 3 & 3 Twisters’.
The Crossfire Ballers were led to victory by Dean Jones with a game high 21 points, while Gikai Clark scored 11 points for the Twisters’.
The Hoop Stars move to 3 & 3 on the season with a 55-47 win over Sky Force who are now 2 & 4 on the season, Jonny Lugo scored 18 points for the Hoop Stars, with Calvert Lee scoring 17 points for the Sky Force.
