Man Stabbed, One Person Taken Into Custody
[Updated] A 46 year old man has been hospitalised tonight [Jan 2] after being stabbed at a Marsh Lane, Pembroke residence, and the police have confirmed that one person has been taken into custody.
A Police spokesperson said, “Around 11:35pm on Friday January 2nd, Police received a report of a stabbing at a Marsh Lane, Pembroke residence.
“Police and first responders attended the residence a short time later and found the victim, a 46 year old male who was rushed to KEMH via ambulance.
“One person has been taken into Police custody and assisting with further inquiries.
“An investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident or may have any information that may assist us to contact Police on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
Update Jan 3: A Police spokesperson said, “The victim was treated at KEMH and discharged and the investigation continues.”
