Masterworks Set To Present “A Stitch In Time”
Masterworks is getting set to present a show by fabric artist and quilter Nancy Frith, dubbed “A Stitch In Time.” The show will take place at Masterworks from January 23 through February 18, 2015.
The Masterworks newsletter said, “Nancy Frith is a Canadian/Bermudian fabric artist and quilter. Working with printed cotton and hand-painted fabrics, she creates whimsical quilted art pieces using shadow photographs and silhouettes. In her water-themed works, she combines stitching with her love of the ocean and scuba diving.
“Nancy creates commissioned Memory Quilts using clothing such as baby clothes, dance costumes, men’s shirts, t-shirts, and more. She also does commissioned silhouette pieces.”
