January 16, 2015

With 11 goals under his belt already this season, Bermudian striker Nahki Wells is aiming to score a minimum of 20 times before the campaign’s end, saying “I believe I am capable of that.”

Wells’ most recent goal came during his team’s recent 3-1 victory over Watford.

According to the UK’s Examiner, the Huddersfield star said, “I’m delighted to have ended my first year at the club strongly, scoring a few goals and helping us pick up some valuable points.”

Match highlights of Huddersfield’s recent 3-1 victory over Watford, including Wells’ goal:

“It’s important to build some rhythm and get a run going, both for myself and the team, and I’m enjoying playing alongside James Vaughan.

“We are putting a lot of work into the partnership on the training ground and trying to utilise each other’s strengths.

“Of course the team is the vital thing, but I can help us pick up points by scoring goals, and I would like a minimum of 20 this season. I believe I am capable of that.”
