Bermuda’s Newest Travel Agency Holds Opening
Bermuda’s newest travel agency celebrated its official opening today [Mar 9] with a ribbon-cutting and open house.
Performing the honours at Trip Bermuda — located in Washington Mall in Hamilton — was the Minister of Transport & Tourism Development Shawn Crockwell, who later formally congratulated the business in the House of Assembly later this morning.
“The agency had been the dream of the late Lois Wilson, and her three children were also involved in the opening,” a spokesperson said. “They are Ashley, Leila, and Asher Wilson and with today’s event they are truly living their mother’s dream.”
The agency is actually two-and-a-half years old, but had been functioning as a low-key operation until late last year. Now there are six full-time agents in the new office space.
