Derelict Car Catches Fire On Parsons Road

The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a fire on Parson’s Road at around 2.00pm this afternoon [Mar 27], with a derelict car having caught fire.

Fire Service spokesperson Sergeant Russann Francis said, “The vehicle was reported to be engulfed in flames producing heavy black smoke. The Fire Service responded to the incident with a team of 4 firefighters who rapidly extinguished the fire.

“The fire was confined to the one vehicle was located on the storage grounds of Central Auto Garage. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”

    Why Tcd traffice enforcers can’t clean up their own back yard of all these abandon cars from TCD down to Glebe Road, I don’t know? It looks disgusting of unused cars parked and left abandon in the park lands. Please enforce this TCD!
