How will I get my boat to Warwick South Shore?

    • Raw Onion says:

      Row.

      • MAKE MY DAY says:

Like dem fishermen did in the “old days”…..Row – row – row ya boat!!!

It looks like a lot of those “old days” are coming back to BDA!!!

Well… When you have a $2+ BILLION deficit for a tiny Island and hardly any tourists… You are in big trouble financially!!

But of course the PLP / BIU “bunch-of-amateurs” know better (Sarc)!!!

Welcome to the REAL world BDA!!!

  2. Be Like Me says:

They didn’t have any gas 2 nights ago…

    • Dockyard Lackey says:

They have run out of gas on a number of occasions over the past few months. Shame really. The staff there are really helpful, but I guess mismanagement or some other internal issues have caused the closure. I am sure Rubis will enlighten us in due course.

      • Raymond Ray says:

Another opportunity for the “Terceira family”…With it being a somewhat necessity to many commercial, charter and weekend fishermen/women this location has for years been convenient.

  3. San George says:

Victim or mis-management? Where is the closest marina – need gas for my boat? C’mon man!

    Quo Fata Ferunt

  4. Coffee says:

How many jobs ? Will someone from the OBA /UBP speak to this !

    • hmmm says:

      Huh??

    • Kangoocar says:

I will, you can thank your plp for their stupid policies that lead to the mass exodus of 5000 IB workers that now has resulted in another closure of a well known business!!! The least you can do is, apologize to the staff members of this gas station!!! Maybe you can also bring this to the attention of all the bus drivers that you seem to whole heartedly support in there devious plan to milk our thanks to your plp, broke government for more money????

      • Coffee says:

At some point you’ll get tired of repeating the same simple nonsense like regurgitated vomit ! Hop away Kangaroo , please just hop away !

      • Picks says:

The government is not responsible for the closure of people private businesses. Their responsibility is to mange the country not businesses.

You all need to stop blaming the PLP. People using it just to shift the blame from themselves.

    • Micro says:

What does the OBA have to do with this?

  5. idiotpatrol says:

Coffee – your one to talk with your repetitive diatribe of ignorance and hate. Why don’t you change your name to KoolAid as you’ve clearly been drinking from the Alaska Hall batch.

  6. Alvin Williams says:

‘THE AMERICA’S CUP’but first evict the natives- another Diego Garcia or in the Bermuda contexts Tucker’s Town.

  7. wondering says:

Bermudians and those who are resident in our country will never get ahead EVER. did I say EVER until WE not you or me, WE get past this race issue. the past cannot be forgotten but it also can’t be used as a model for the future in the present – some ppl’s existence revolves around the negative of the past and the hopelessness of the future with the sad truth being that the future has yet to happen, the past is behind us and the present is being lived in the realm of the former. go figure – this is about human beings and their failure to continue to thrive and some business decisions yet to be made and to be quite honest, B&W is so passé it isn’t funny so leave it out of the equation!!

    • lolwut says:

Uhhh Slow your role lol. This is a comment section on a gas station closing down. What’s race got to do with it lmao.

  8. Oh,I see now says:

Wondering heh heh you appear to be a little naive, from one side of the eight ball your post may be true. The only problem is you can’t control the attitude or feelings of another group of people who remain resolute in there opinion about you.

  9. Ed Case says:

Sorry but I can’t see how you can go out of business when you’re selling gas.

    That’s not just mis-management, its gross mis-management.

  10. cole says:

They had constant business. I would guess this is about fuel tank maintenance costs or the owner focusing on his dicty new tour boat biz.

  11. Flawless says:

People have lost their jobs, and all you talk about is race, politics and where you will get gas for your precious boats. Are you fisherman?? Have you thought of the impact this has on people., and why assume it was mismanaged? Assuming only makes an ass out of you so be careful.
Grow up people. You should be ashamed of what you write Kangoocar. Keep to the facts, unless you can come up with a conclusion, better still keep quiet.

  12. JONO says:

    I’m a full-time commercial fisherman….usually fish North/North West and fill up
at BOAZ Island Marine. During last three weeks started to fish farther West and filled up three times at Robinson’s. The attendant great/polite and welcoming, however their pumps are ‘tired/slow’ and certainly very slow on the cash desk. I have reverted to using BOAZ, but only last week mentioned to one of the owners at BOAZ that it was quicker to bypass Robinson’s, go around Daniel’s Island and fill up at his station.,,,Overall service at BOAZ is exceptional..

    • Spanky says:

Be longer lines at Boaz now. Plan ahead as boating season is about to swing open. Maybe Robinsons has leaky tanks and they’ve been told to fix it before taking on more inventory ( ?). Hard to imagine a marine gas station not being profitable.

  13. Rasta says:

I hope the new operators hire “Kennedy”. He does a great job!

  14. Kangoocar says:

I did come to a conclusion, what part of the plp SENT 5000 gas purchasing people away from our island, did you miss????? When you have that many less customers buying a particular product, all businesses in our island that sells that product are going to feel it big time!!! Do you own a business??? If you don’t, I can see why?? So , I will repeat, it is the plps fault again!!! When will all people understand the fact that, we are ALL going to be paying for many more years because of their incompetence!!
Also getting 84 dislikes is NOT fooling anyone Alaska hall/plp!!! You guys are seriously sad???
