BFIS Holds Networking Event: Insurance Sector
Last night [April 22] the BFIS Mentor Networking Committee held a networking event aimed at assisting last year’s graduates plus others who have registered with BFIS over recent months to find out more about careers in the insurance sector.
“BFIS already runs networking events for high school seniors and for college students but this is the first time we have focused on a group who may be finding it difficult to make those all important personal connections with industry professionals in a relaxed, conversational atmosphere,” a spokesperson said,
“Underwriters, brokers, lawyers, accountants, investment analysts and representatives from employment agencies attended and all were fully engaged and appreciated the opportunity to meet people who are industry focused, and vice versa.
“BFIS thanks ACE Bermuda for providing the venue and the Aon Group who sponsors the BFIS Mentor Network through the Rhondelle Tankard Memorial Fund.”
