BUEI To Host William Zuill’s ‘Pirate Menace’ Talk

The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] is getting set to host a talk titled ‘The Pirate Menace: Exploring Piracy Past and Present’ by author William Zuill on April 9 at 7.30pm.

Bill Zuill will moderate, with a panel discussion by Jens Alers [Bernhard Schulte Ship Management], Dr. David Saul [Odyssey Marine Exploration], and James Watlington [Alexanders Barristers and Attorneys].

The event poster says, “Join us for an exciting and adventure-filled evening as we delve into the world of pirates past and present! William Zuill will discuss his new book The Pirate Menace focusing on the historical period when authorities took on pirates as they were becoming a major problem to the big economies of the world.

“This will be followed by a panel discussion on modern day piracy. Mr. Zuill will be signing copies of his book on the night.”

The evening will begin with a Sushi Happy Hour at the Harbourfront, featuring specially priced drinks and sushi, with the Harbourfront opening for dinner at 6.00pm. The lecture itself will begin at 7.30pm in the BUEI Auditorium.
