Onionpatch Academy To Host Walk-A-Thon
The Onionpatch Academy will be conducting its third annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, 18th April, 2015 at the Arboretum Park starting at 10:00am, which will see students, family and friends walk around the park.
“Families can enjoy a healthy lunch and then let the kids work off their excess energy by playing in the park,” a spokesperson said.
“The money raised will be used for two main purposes – [1] Educational supplies such as puzzles, blocks, and manipulatives [2] Outdoor play equipment. Registration fee for the walk-a-thon is $20 for adults and $10 for children.
