BSoA: Whimsical, Exploration, Birds Eye View
The Bermuda Society of Arts [BSoA] is getting set to open a new show at its galleries on Friday, May 22 from 5.00pm through 7.00pm at City Hall, with the show remaining open to the public until June 9; all work is for sale.
In the Onions Gallery will be ‘A Bird’s Eye View of Bermuda’ by Bermuda Aerial Media. Of that show, the event poster says, “For the first time, Bermuda Aerial Media shows Bermuda from the air like you’ve never seen before.”
In the Edinburgh Gallery, ‘An Exploration in Colour, Collage & Line’ by Alexandra Cooper will be on display, offering “a collection of work inspired by Bermuda’s natural beauty which evokes a sense of curiosity and wonder.”
Studio A will play host to ‘Whimsical Watercolours’ by Charles Knights, featuring “a series of watercolours created by well known Violin teacher turned Plein Air artist extraordinaire.”
Finally, in Studio B will be ‘Camera & Brush: A View of St. Georges’ by Daniel and Deanne Desilva, with “an eclectic selection of paintings and photography caught by a talented couple with an interest in fine art and Bermuda’s original capital city.”
The BSoA is open from 10.00am through 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 10.00am through 2.00pm. For more information, visit the BSoA website or contact the gallery on 292-3824.
