Bermuda Man Wins On Australian Game Show
An appearance by the Woods family on game show Family Feud Australia will be helping one man come home to Bermuda to visit his family after his answers lead to the $10,000 grand prize.
Dale Woods had to answer questions including naming something you look forward to doing on an airplane; something that it takes two people to do; something that parents do when their last child leaves home; a piece of clothing that everyone owns; and an animal beginning with the letter ‘M’.
Before checking his answers and revealing whether or not his family had won the $10,000, host Grant Denyer asked Mr. Woods if his family had made any plans for the potential winnings, to which Mr. Woods answered, “With my share, I’m going to take a trip to Bermuda,” adding “that’s where I’m from originally.”
The contestant went on to say that he moved away from the island “six or seven years ago.”
Before revealing the last answer, from which the family needed 19 point to secure their winnings, the host said, “Nineteen points from one answer and you guys have got $10,000 – and you’re off to Bermuda.”
Stretching the suspense, the host asks Dale who remains in Bermuda, to which he says, “My mum, dad, brother – everyone.”
The revealing of the final answer – ‘monkey,’ in response to being asked for an animal that starts with ‘M’ – ends the video as the Woods family’s $10,000 prize is secured.
